  BUTTERFACE…..SHES AN UGLY BITCH

  We built butterface purely as an axle test vehicle. We didn’t want another airbrushed show rig. We wanted to be able to beat her. It was meant to be quick, simple, and fun. So we said fuck paint, and built this turd. She started life as a ’97 jeep TJ with a 4.0 inline six and a 5 speed. In another life she was built with a passenger drop 60 so it has an adapted Dana 300 with a 4.1 gear set and a twin stick.  She has an overkill 6 point 2 man cage, and overkill tub skinz that we hacked down when we chopped the ass end off her. She has on overkill long arm 4 link/ front 3 link suspension with a ¼” thick skidplate/ link mount and .380 wall 1.5” o.d. Dom tubing links, with fox coilover remote reservoir shocks. The engine is mostly stock with the exception of a header and an edge throttle body spacer, cold air intake, and programmer. The tires are 39.5x14.50x17 Interco irok radials on 17x10 procomp extreme aluminum wheels (soon to be bead locked). The best thing about her is the 1 ton Atomic Axles. Hers are 6-lug low pinion with arb air lockers and 5.13 gears. She also sports a full hydro steering kit from tom at psc motorsports.
